Education on Fire, and Good News

The burnt part of my former school
On Saturday my former high school caught fire and burned down, luckily the community noticed the bright light from the fire and rushed to see what was it and where it comes from and were able to put out the fire. However, they may have succeeded, but most of the schools information was already in ashes. I just wish and hope this will not affect academic records of the school and the learners performance, especially matriculants.
Still on education, i receive good news today, i'm very happy and proud of my friend who just got accepted in University of South Africa (UNISA). he will be studying a degree in Accounting, i wish him all the best and i believe in him. This is the best news ever this year...... Congratulation to him, education is the best choice one can make!

South Africa a DEAD Country..

Ever since Jacob Zuma and Julius Malema emerged in power, the country has been unsure of its future. The two teamed up to removed one of the country's best former president after Mandela, that is Thabo Mbeki a man i truly value and respect. The country was starting to show some positive development in terms of economy and education under his leadership, but because current president Jacob Zuma and his psychic suspended former president of the ANCYL Julius were uneducated and did not understand his strategies, you  could also say they were blinded by their racial and tribalism behaviors, they decided to remove Mbeki from power so that they can turn this country into a war zone of their own. Currently the same person who help Zuma to power is insulting him and the country is divided in two where Julius is busy fooling the poor about his strategies of empowering them, but he had the chance, yet he was busy enriching himself and his family, just because now his best friend turned against him he comes with promises.
Violence and corruption is at the core of our country's leadership, a question can be asked "is this what is called freedom?" in a recent incident in Marikana at North West, 34 mine workers who were protesting were gunned down "dead"  by police officers and instead of handling this tragic event in a proper manner Julius and Zuma decided to turn this incident into their own stupid game.
South Africa is as good as dead, it is gonna be hard to the poor in the few coming couple of years if we allow ANC to take another turn in running this country. As a student i feel for those who dropped out of school and those who took their education for granted, we heading to new are, more like other African country where people like Malema and Zuma killed their economy!

It's up to us to stop this destruction that's about to destroy our country. Let's make the right decision and choose well in the next elections, because it's our future we talking about here, more especially our children s' future.

Porvety an excuse of failure(2013 no children grants)

Poverty is one of the major crisis this country is faced with and it has been existing for years and years, most of us grow up poor and that did not restrict us from chasing our dreams. South Africans have been spoiled a lot and most of young people in this country continue to add in the statistics of poverty.
The government has been giving away all these freebies and failing to educate the nation, to tell the truth a young person with real dreams and ambitions is on his/her own in this country. The government cares less about education but looks a lot at taking away what already exist from those who can maintain and cherish, the country's money (tax payers money) is spent on useless things and people do not care.

Young people commit crime, take drugs, beg on the street and most of them drop out of school and you ask why they say "Its because I'm poor" that excuse has already reached an expiry date, but they still use it. The truth is that 'young people of today have been fooled by the wrong people who pretend to be representing them, the likes of aboMalema. These people are capitalists who wanna enrich themselves in the name of the poor. Poverty is no more a factor that can stop you from being who you wanna be. I for on was born and raised in a disadvantaged family of six and we live in a shack built with mud, but that did not stop me from dreaming and still today i'm chasing my dream'.
This other day when i was at home (Dullstroom) i saw a child and he look familiar, i walk towards him, he was wearing his green school uniform and his shoes wear torn out, he was dragging them and his face was facing down, as i came near him he turn fast towards and away again. My heart start to feel down and my soul started to be sad. I asked him "What's your name?" with his face facing down he replied "I'm Thabo Johannes 'Surname', i'm 12 doing grade7 and i stay there" he pointed at his home. I did not know what to say because he was so clever and i could tell that he has dream but just because of his background all that can change. So i decided to start a campaign with my friends and we did, we called it a Dress a Child Campaign. We went around town t o donate clothing but the response was not good, yet we manage to get a few and we appreciated that because it made a diffference to those few.

We all need to understand that the people in government offices have a lot to deal and they can't deal with each and everyone of us. Feel for that child as you would feel for yours. The spirit of ubuntu has been forgotten in this country, the only time we get to use that is when the is a racial saga..My wish is that all these freebies can be cut of from people have not yet have babies in 2013 and what is this thing of money given to the unemployed. I think the is a plan to destroy SA.

Being a Better Person... (BBP)

This is what you should do: Love the earth and the sun and the animals, despite riches, give alms to every one that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning God... Then your life_(Walt Whitman)...

Life is not a game of soccer, in this game goals are set in dreams and achieved in reality.

I need a strong wake-up call, i can't do anything my body just feels so lazy. Is it witchcraft? No i don't think so, but the possibilities are high! Life has become so complex, everything seem so easy, yet impossible. I can operate a computer like a pro but i find it hard to do computer science.......

I took this semester lightly i think it's about time i pull up my socks and up my game. I realized that 3 years its nothing i can finish this degree with a blink of an eye. Which way will it be?

In life you make you own choices and weather you succeed or fail is up to what you have chosen for your future plans.... When you fail do not plain anyone but rather look at what you did wrong and try again........ As long as God has granted you another day, means you still have greater mountains to conquer..
Use your brain Positively.

Arbor Day

Arbor Day was celebrated from 1983 until 1999 in South Africa, when the national government extended it to National Arbor Week, which lasts from 1–7 September. Two trees, one common and one rare, are highlighted to increase public awareness of indigenous trees, while various "greening" activities are undertaken by schools, businesses and other organizations.( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arbor_Day#South_Africa).

South Africa use to be a beautiful country with less building and industries.
Spring is around the corner and we can all start to feel the festive fever roaming around.. Businesses, Schools and many others please join me as i and my team Dream for a Goal as we will be partnering with the Department of Agriculture to plant trees in the country! do you part in keeping this colourful country beautiful but restoring the colours...
Trees are life. Remember that!

My Country's Future, My Opinion.....and "Politics"

Its bee a while since i posted on my blog. Have you ever wondered why people behave the way they do? the answer to that question varies to each and everyone of us' perception. We all tendc to believe we in control of our lives and we strongly believe that our actions determine the outcome of reality. While i was out on holidays and spending time reading different mediums that provide us with latest news and information, i came to realise a lot of things about how many people are clueless about ones capability of maintaining his/her existence.

People who in power (Politicians, Socialists, capitalists, etc) tend to have all the power to decide in the future of the world, Here in South Africa if one becomes involved with a political party or get deployed in the government sector forgets the responsibilities that were embedded on the employment contract. Lately former ANC Youth League Julius Malema is seen as a trouble maker in the country and he was also expelled the party for 5 years. During the 90s when Thabo Mbeki was still president the Country's economy was promising and it showed a possibility of growth over the years, Mbeki is a scholar it he had qualifications in economics, so understood what it takes to make the country go one step up in the worlds GDP, But because he was not give things away many, (like social grants, childcare's grants, farms and etc.)  black people felt that he was not doing anything yet he granted 12 year old's a right to abort! Because Mbeki's efforts were not physically seen by the majority of poor lazy people especially those of political parties they planned to through him out in the next election and Malema was the weapon that was used by current president Jacob Zuma to out throw Mbeki.

To show how rotten this country has become, just visit any municipally office or government department and observe the treatment you will receive, its sometimes heartbreaking to come across this phase where you have to beg for service from people who vowed to serve the country in a more promising way. Government officials feel to much comfortable in their seats and they spend money on unnecessary things just to impress the masses. The most Corrupt province Limpopo has just been in the center of attention because of its incompetency and rebellious ways: Almost all of province's school has not received text books and this matter has been going for months now but just because the elections are just around the corner this issue takes to the media and the government pretends to be dealing with this matter, the ANCYL sees a loop hole to get rid of Angie Motsekga the current minister of education in the country because they feel the position needs to be filled by an ANCYL member.

I believe it is time over for comrade leadership in this country, we leaders who are well educated and experienced in the role of social development, Mbeki has proved that being educated in the leadership position positive change is guaranteed. The Democratic Alliance (DA) is one of the promising parties to challenge the now corrupt ANC. The youg people of this country need to wake up and realize that education is the key to a better life and stop supporting stupid ideas that come with stupid and uneducated people like the current deputy president of the ANCYL, how can you take away land from people who are trying to conserve the economy, besides if you ever traveled to Limpopo from Pretoria or Mpumalanga you will notice large and large potions of free land, if the ANCYL had plans with the lands they want why can't they start by using those first, goes to show that they are just ego and hate driven and its stupid.

Until this country realize that the individuals who reside on this land have the responsibility to play a part in its development rather than self gain more and more people will be victims of their poor decision and lack of cognitive skills. Democracy means that all persons rule the state and have rights to choose the road to success of the country. Stop thinking about what you can have now and think beyond your imagination, life is great and interestin when you have a legacy to leave behind. Nelson Mandela shall be remembered and go down to history and even you can achieve what most icons have achieve, its not hard at all. Choose change than a random cycle of lies and empty promise, if the current can't live up to its promise why are we keeping quite? lets show them that we in control and give them a taste of what power we have as the country!

It's my wish to see this country coming to terms that car's who worth millions impoverish the millions of poor people. Lets all see the country the way Mandela needs us to and put the past in it's place and away with old fashioned comrade ways...... Education Forward

Thank for taking you time to read this, hope you found it interesting and worth reading.
